LGV Night Driver | Full time | Site Based | Thatcham, RG19 4NB


EV Cargo are looking for Class 1 Drivers (Nights) to join our team at our depot in Newbury (Greenham Common) working Nights Mon-Friday with flexible start times.

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified HGV driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.


THE SALARY
- £16.96 per hour - all hours Monday to Friday (based on shift start time)

  • Bank holiday = double time + day in lieu

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Various HGV driving duties.
  • General haulage duties.
  • Trunking store deliveries
  • Driving independently or alongside a banksman or rep.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths. LGV License.
Experience. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial. Scanning Experience. Computer/IT experience including apps and Windows products.
Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
