The right person will have demonstrable events and fundraising experience, have a strong work background, and be confident with public speaking, press and social media.
This is a challenging and very rewarding role.
This is a full-time role working in hybrid pattern, with three days working from home and two based in our central London office (Thursday and Friday).
The role reports to the Director and will supervise and work closely with the Administration Officer and the office volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, promote and provide logístical lead with the preparation, planning and logistics of fundraising and awarenessraising events; same for university talks (including for student groups)
- Student group programme: supporting fundraising targets and student group events.
- Drafting press releases.
- Overseeing social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter)
- Supervision of Social Media Officer and events/social media volunteers
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to prioritise a demanding and varied workload.
- Social Media experience and strong attention to detail.
- Experience of events production.
- Experience of fundraising drives.
- Understanding of charity administration.
- Keen to be part of a small, committed team with a willingness to assist colleagues in all areas of the charity's work when necessary.
- High level of IT skills, experience of Excel a necessity and the ability to learn new processes: Office suite in particular.
- Demonstrated commitment to human rights
Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
