Accounts Assistant - Full time role - East Kilbride - Immediate Start available


Reporting directly into the finance manager and working closely with other business stakeholders, this role is considered a key appointment.


Client is looking for a confident finance assistant, purchase ledger or accounts payable assistant who is looking for a new challenge.


The Role

  • Processing in key accounting areas including Purchase ledger, Sales ledger and Expense reports
  • Assist with Bank reconciliations and receipt processing
  • Process journals and assist with management accounts at month, quarter and year ends.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns
  • Complete special projects as needed, and as other duties are assigned
  • Compiling and analysing financial information, reporting results to finance business partners
  • General admin and other ad hoc duties

Your Profile
-
2nd language preferable but not essential ideally either DUTCH and/or POLISH:

  • You will be flexible and adaptable to work within a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; some experience with SAGE 200 accounting software is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and has the flexibility to complete a variety of projects
  • Capability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities


The salary range/rates of pay are dependent upon your experience, qualifications and training and package included company pension and other benefits.

£23,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
