Your main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Plan and prepare all work schedules according to workloads and dissemination of information via Assistant Supervisors
  • Monitor completion of NCRs, reporting issues to Engineering, Projects, and QESH departments as required
  • Ensure documentation is completed to standard and in accordance with internal processes
  • Deal directly with employment agencies to recruit suitable temporary labour to cover peak workloads
  • Develop and maintain policies and standard operating procedures, prioritizing health and safety and environmental concerns
  • Attend monthly health and safety meetings, reporting issues and trends

Tsucceeded in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Excellent relationship management and staff management abilities
  • Customer service mindset and time management prowess
  • Ability to act independently and adapt to change with attention to detail
  • HNC/equivalent in mechanical engineering or relevant experience within the industry
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, health and safety requirements, and PC skills
