Oxford United Women Emerging Talent Centre

ETC Age Group Coach


Oxford United Women are seeking ETC Coaches to join our Girls Emerging Talent Centre and work with our U12s & U16s.


Coaching Hours:


  • Weekly 1.5 hour training sessions. Monday evenings.
  • Fixtures every 6 weeks during school holidays.

Main duties:


  • Plan and deliver high quality weekly coaching sessions to players within the Emerging Talent Centre.
  • Complete assessments and Individual Development plans as directed by the player development lead.
  • To adhere to all Oxford United Football Club's safeguarding policies and procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.
  • To report any concerns of a safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club's Safeguarding agenda.
  • To report any concerns of discrimination to the relevant parties and promote a welcoming and inclusive club environment for all.
  • To adhere to the Club's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, supporting the Club to create an environment which is inclusive and allencompassing.
  • Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.

Personal Specification

Essential

  • Level 1 FA Coaching Qualification.
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability and the ability to ensure confidentiality at all time.
  • Friendly, well organized with the ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Possess strong time management skills and have a flexible approach to work.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Holds an in date FA Safeguarding Children Certificate or is willing to complete the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop within 3 months.
  • Holds an in date FA First Aid Certificate or is willing to complete the FA First Aid Course within 3 months.
  • FA Safeguarding Children certification.
  • FA Emergency First Aid in Football certification.
  • An enhanced criminal record check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.

  • A full clean driving license
  • FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification

Role Requirements

  • To be able to work on evenings.
  • To comply and promote the Club's policies and procedures to include Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity and GDPR compliance.
  • Understanding of the governance, security and cyber security requirements including areas such as General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
  • To undertake required training including mandatory Club Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety and Safeguarding Induction.
