Amazing news A fantastic job opportunity has come up for a Head of Sales in our UK Sales Team for our Convenience and Ecommerce channels.

We're looking for an inspirational, forward thinking leader who can lead and challenge the Dr. Oetker UK sales agenda.

You will have responsibility to develop, evolve and implement strategies designed to meet sales targets in terms of volume, revenue and profit.

Your Future:
What will I be doing?


  • You will inspire and lead the Convenience and Ecommerce team, with responsibility to develop, evolve and implement customer strategies which are designed to meet budgeted targets in terms of market share, volume, revenue and profit.
  • You'll drive and develop a high performing sales team to create a competitive advantage in the market place for customers and consumers to achieve the overall business objectives. The role will have 2 Business Account Manager and 2 Business Development Manager direct reports and you'll have responsibility for the development and engagement of the Team creating a culture where motivation is high, performance is bar raising and success is celebrated.
  • You'll assume overall responsibility for the development of specific accounts and plans that cover overall channel strategy, specific goals and tactics for range, promotions, terms and service.
  • Working with all stakeholders across the business, at all levels to deliver the Sales KPI's, deliver commercial insight and influence the interface between the customer and Dr. Oetker UK.
  • This role reports into the Head of Sales for Channel Development.
  • You will be a role model for DOUK.

Your Strengths:
What skills do I need to succeed?


  • You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of setting up and maintaining excellent customer relationships, internally within a business and externally with customers. It would be great if you have previous mid senior level Management experience in an FMCG environment (ideally 5 years).
  • Act as an integral leader by coaching, supporting, challenging and influencing at all levels.
  • A key part of the role is developing strong customer relationships & sales success you will need to be able to talk through your strategic success stories.
  • You will be a selfmotivated, driven and customer focussed individual, ideally with a breadth of experience across the industry.
  • You will have a strong ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels within the business.
This role is home based.

You do need to be able to visit our Leeds Head Office, Leyland Production site and other external locations for face to face collaboration and to meet business requirements when required.
