The Client:


Our client is a UK-Top 100 commercial law firm providing a comprehensive range of legal services from offices in multiple locations.

The firm advises businesses across different sectors complementing the firm's market leadership within local government,housing, and health & social care.


The Role:


Due to growth, they have exciting opportunities for a
planning Solicitor and Associate to join and work closely with the partners within the team and across the firm.

The planning solicitor/associate will involve advising clients on a wide range ofcontentious and non-contentious planning matters, including planning appeals and compulsory purchase work.


Duties:


  • Experience in contentious and noncontentious planning law (preferred), gained ideally across a range of public and private sector clients and have a desire to work on development consent orders
  • Strong communication skills with a professional approach to work
  • Confidence in working directly with clients
  • An ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
  • An aptitude for drafting and legal analysis
  • A keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at junior and senior levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • A practical and commercial approach
