Role and Responsibilities


Join CAE's Business Aviation Training team as
Client Account Owner at our Flight Training Centre in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

With around 15 Flight Simulators on-site you will be responsible for our Phenom platforms specifically which means that you will confirm and schedule training and also take ownership for your assigned territory from a client perspective.


The role we are offering you
The Phenom Account Planner is responsible for all incoming and retained revenue from their assigned territory/ region.

As an integral point of the sales team, you are responsible not just for acting as a dedicated training partner to the customer, but as an advocate for CAE to drive optimal customer behavior.

As an advocate for CAE you are expected to lead communication efforts within their assigned platform. As a trusted partner, you are tasked to maneuver within the company and take the lead on customer education.

  • Accountable for all revenue bookings within their assigned accounts. Owns the client's experience.
  • Responsible for quickly responding to requests to book revenue with accurate, detailed information that matches customers preferences.
  • Ensures that bookings are entered correctly into the system and follows up with clients regarding any pretraining related changes, questions or concerns.
  • Acts as a trusted training advisor for Decision Makers while arranging their training needs
  • Short and long term planning and scheduling of training requirements to include allocation of simulator, training devices, classroom and instructor resources in accordance with the approved course or training profiles, and taking account of Client, Instructor and maintenance requirements
  • Resolves customer concerns. Provides the first line response for pre and post training customer concerns by independently seeking solutions and advocating throughout the company. Escalates concerns when necessary and owns the concern until it is resolved.
  • Accountable for revenue from both retention and wallet share for assigned accounts. Overcomes client objections and creates new revenue opportunities by generating leads for the inside sales team and RSM to follow up on. Follows up on resigned retention tasks to ensure all possible client training returns to CAE. Achieve revenue targets by territory.
  • Communicate with customers in territory / region on a regular basis to develop rapport. Check in with the pilot or training director after training to collect immediate feedback and secure following year's booking. Advises customers of upcoming training opportunities and educates customers on CAE offerings including highlighting upsell opportunities on every booking.
  • Creates optimal situations for both the client and CAE. Pair's customers where possible and ensures that all customers questions are answered accurately and quickly. Respectfully drives revenue execution working to ensure that all possible revenue is captured by CAE.
  • Educates customers on cancelation and temp reservation policies. Directs clients to training solutions that are ideal for CAE while still meeting the clients training requirements.
  • Work closely as a single point of contact with Embraer to build relationships and accommodate training.
- has Aviation experience (desirable)
- has good attention to detail and can deal with multiple items at the same time.
- has experience with Salesforce or equivalent client database software would be an advantage.
- brings experience in customer/client relations role.
- possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This role offers an competitive quarterly paid sales incentive plan with the opportunity to double the base salary annually. This position is based on-site at our Training Centre in Burgess Hill.

The Training Centre runs 24/7 so some weekend/public holiday cover would be required which is arranged in a shared team rota.
