The client

Our client is an award-winning Investment services business which offers financial advisers and their clients smart technology, unrivalled support and exceptional service.

Division/Department Actuarial & Risk Management
Salary up to 50k + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus + Study Package Hybrid Working - 2 days office, 3 days at home London City Office Overview

To take responsibility for financial reporting processes under Solvency II for the UK life company, and the Risk based Capital regime for the Isle of Man life company.
Additional responsibilities will be related to actuarial pricing, experience analyses and model improvements.

To work closely with colleagues from Corporate Accounting, Business Intelligence, and Risk Management.

Study support for actuarial exams is provided with this role.

Responsibilities:

Planning and implementing actuarial model improvements within the model governance framework.
Conducting and improving checks on actuarial valuation data.
Producing actuarial results and communicating with Corporate Accounting, Business Intelligence and Risk Management regarding their use in financial and risk reporting.
