IQVIA are currently recruiting for a Therapy account Specialist to join a global pharmaceutical company making a difference to patients' lives on a daily basis.

This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for a Therapy Account Specialist, to shape and direct our client's presence in the UK.


As a therapy specialist you will:

  • Provide a high-quality commercial approach to maximise growth of our client's portfolio
  • Provide a true partnership to connect, educate and support key customers on treatment regimens, ensuring patients receive optimal care.
  • Produce, agree and implement bespoke initiatives from a business plan that enable patients to have access to our client's products
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge of the defined therapy areas and NHS policies (local and national) by proactively reviewing their current positions and providing solutions where appropriate to ensure the use of our client's products.
  • Always liaise with both internal and external customers in a professional manner

We are looking for a individual with:

  • Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
  • ABPI medical sales representative exam
  • An ability to network and gain access to customers in our client specialist therapy areas for which current networks and relationships would be helpful.
  • A high level of selling, business and commercial acumen demonstrated across all key customer types, including secondary care
  • Demonstrable sales successes in a multichannel environment
  • The ability to develop positive relationships with all business partners
  • A proven track record of pharmaceutical sales / KAM experience
  • Up to date knowledge of the customer environment, including the NHS budgetary and planning processes
  • A UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
