Agile Hybrid Homeworking (office base Norwich)

Part time, hours (working days to be agreed)

Starting Salary at £29,086 per annum (pro rata), with future progression opportunities to £30,941 (pro rata)

Permanent Contract

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Officer to join our team. The role requires the individual to take responsibility for ensuring a consistent approach to digital communication across the organisation.


The main duties of the role are:
Producing and editing the Associations website content, including selecting appropriate photos and images.

Ensuring content produced and published is adapted appropriately for the type of media platform and is relevant for its intended audience.


Supporting/advising with the production of other forms of communication such as leaflets, tenant and corporate magazines and surveys for digital consumption.

Regularly updating the Associations social media accounts and overseeing reactive social media content.

Proactively planning the Associations press releases. This will also include working with other organisations for joint press releases where appropriate.

Attending tenant participation events as required, which may include evenings

About You


All staff and volunteers working for Broadland will always be expected to act in a manner that is consistent with our corporate values and behaviours.

A degree or equivalent in ideally journalism, PR, Marketing, Creative Writing or have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an equivalent role

Competent in all Microsoft packages.

Proven writing/editing experience, ideally in a digital environment.

Ability to identify and use the appropriate communication style in a variety of forums.

Proven experience of WordPress or an equivalent Content Management System.
