Credit Strategy Lead

London (50% hybrid working)

Up to £75, % average bonus + 14% pension
Develop Credit Risk and Commercial Strategies for a brand new digital partnership and payments portfolio.

Analyse large sets of customer data using SAS, SQL or Python to build lending strategies for a start-up portfolio in a growing, but established marketleader.

Strategic initiatives here will vary...

But you'll use your analytical skills and commercial knowledge to set up everything from Underwriting, Pricing, Acquisition and Account strategies as well as Profit Modelling.

THE ROLE:


  • Manipulate large sets of data using SAS, SQL, Python
  • Draw business insights from data and form commercial ideas to grow the portfolio and enhance customer experience
  • Develop the Credit Risk strategies for the book including building the Underwriting and Decisioning as well as Account Management strategies
  • Manage the strategy process, working with stakeholder to develop/optimise lending and customer strategies
  • Mentor more junior team members on technical skills, analytical processes and commercial aspects

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Strong Alevel results in mathematical studies
  • 2.1 or higher in a quantitative discipline from a Red Brick or Russell Group University preferred
  • Experience using analytical skills to draw insights from data required
  • History of Using SAS, SQL, Python or similar in a professional environment required
