Due to expansion and aquisition, we are looking to recruit a Transport Planner for our office in Bathgate.Transport Planner Responsibilities:
- Scheduling transportation services, planning routes and assigning drivers
Processing shipping documents
Monitoring drivers
Liaising between manager and drivers, as well as collaborating with other departments to optimize transportation services
Planning routes and preparing schedules, as well as tracking and reporting progress with orders
Complying to transportation regulations and company expectations
General office duties
Be accurate in data inputting
- Processing paperwork
Transport Planner Skills:
Good Communication Skills
Good literacy & numeracy skills
Excellent telephone & administration skills
Attention to detail
Experience within the shipping/transport industry Transport Planner Requirements:
Solid knowledge of transportation regulations
Superb time management and organisational skills
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities
Great problem solving and analytical skills
