Multifab Ltd is one of the leading commercial fabrication companies in the UK, specialising in high quality aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and sheet-metal fabrication.

This position will report directly to the Production Manager.

Working as part of a team the role will require you to good attention to details, able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently without daily supervision.

We are after someone who has had previous experience in Powder coating, Surface Preparation, aluminium fabrication, is able to work with power tools and understands the importance of the role in the manufacturing process.

The duties of the role are:

Prepare parts for coating and pre-treatment
Follow all principles and practices of weld dressing and aluminium preparation
Operate preparation equipment including orbital sanders, grinders etc
Perform visual inspections
Ensure quality standards are met
Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Performing other duties within the department as required
Maintain good housekeeping within the work area
Adhere to the company Health & Safety policy and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulations

The working hours for this role are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am to 16.00pm, Friday 7am to 13.30pm based at our Attleborough factory/office.
