Education Welfare Officer
required to work Full Time in Primary and Secondary Schools in the Caerphilly area
to start in September 2023
A vacancy has arisen for an Education Welfare Officer with a commitment to working with schools and families to ensure that every child is receiving a suitable full time education by encouraging regular attendance at school.
Successful applicants will be someone who:
- Has good communication/interpersonal skills.
- Has experience of working with children for example as a Teaching Assistant or a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- Is technically proficient and well organised.
- Has a thorough knowledge of issues in education.
- Is enthusiastic, with a professional and caring attitude.
- Has GCSE grade C or above in English/Welsh and Mathematics.
- The ability to communicate in Welsh may be an advantage.
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 7 months
