The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a monitoring and evaluation consultant to perform a mid-term evaluation for our Action for Animal Health coalition.

You will assess the coalition's performance to date and whether we are on track to meet our 2026 strategic objectives.

You will come up with a methodology for the evaluation and produce a report with your analysis and key recommendations for how the coalition should implement its work most effectively and efficiently from now until the end of the strategy period.

Your analysis will contribute to the coalition achieving its goal of governments, donors and multilateral organisations investing in strong animal health systems, to protect animal welfare and to help combat major public health threats.

Criteria

You will have experience of monitoring and evaluation for advocacy and campaigning, with demonstrable qualitative and quantitative research skills. You will have knowledge of the advocacy landscape around global health, One Health and/or animal health.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Spanish and/or French is an advantage.

We expect the report and recommendations to be finalised by the end of January 2024.
