An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to work with the Integrated Healthcare Team at HMP North Sea Camp, providing extensive administration support.


This unique environment offers the opportunity to work with different organisations and subcontractors and support the delivery of care across a range of services including primary care, mental health and substance misuse.

The Offender Health Directorate is one of the largest and most successful providers of prison healthcare in the UK.

The Directorate provide physical, mental health and substance misuse healthcare services in prisons across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire & Leicestershire.

Please note that this post may not meet the pay and skill level required for a Skilled worker visa


Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change.

This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa and also does not appear on the shortage occupation list for healthcare and education.

In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.


To provide an efficient, comprehensive administrative service to the Integrated Healthcare Team, supporting the clinical team in the organisation and facilitation of clinics by providing a reception service for patient appointments in the Healthcare Department, as well as maintaining patient records / databases, processing referrals, managing waiting lists and caseload management on SystmOne.

Liaising with external organisations where required, i.e. hospitals, other prisons and partner agencies and colleagues within this prison.

Provide comprehensive secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Assistant Practice Manager, Head of Offender Health, GPs, Nurses and Team Leaders.

Ensuring provision of work is to a high standard of accuracy and presentation, often working to tight deadlines and under pressure.


Liaise with external organisations as required, contributing to continuity of care for patients for court, transfer establishments or upon release.

Word process correspondence including letters, memos and collating reports.

Filing, photocopying, scan and attaching documents.

Input data and maintain databases.


Input accurate data onto SystmOne ensuring timely and accurate reports are provided to the Assistant Practice Manager and Head of Offender Health.

Support the clinical team in the organising and facilitation of clinics and diaries, using SystmOne rota types and ledgers.

Manage the SystmOne rota's, ensuring accurate records for data collection

Provide SystmOne training to all staff and be the point of contact for SystmOne advice and guidance for all staff members

Be responsible for the production and review of SystmOne protocols

Be responsible for data collection from SystmOne, to support reporting and Key Performance Indicators.

Work closely with the Head of Offender Health in relation to exception reporting for Key Performance Indicators.

Attend meetings as a minute taker and be responsible for producing and circulating minutes.

Support the clinical managers in the production of the staff off duty.

Be responsible for managing own workload, consulting with the Assistant Practice Manager if required.
