Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with a disability to achieve their goals? As a Support Worker within our Disability Team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in their lives.


Essential qualifications and experience for this role includes:

  • A Level 3 or above professional qualification in Social Care that is relevant to the role.
  • Experience working with children and/or young adults, as well as their families during transitional periods, would be an asset.
  • Experience in a statutory setting is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and direct work with children and/or young adults.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Level 1 and 2 Safeguarding procedures, as well as a strong understanding of child protection procedures and/or Adult Safeguarding.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with a range of agencies, including the third sector and communitybased services.
