LondonEnergy are currently looking to recruit a
RRF Senior Site Supervisor for our new Reuse and Recycle Facility in Edmonton, North London.

As the
Senior Site Supervisor, you are responsible for safe & efficient operation of the RFPF and the RRC and therefore detailed knowledge of both operations will be required.

As the
Senior Site Supervisor, you are also responsible for:

  • Providing COTC cover in the absence of the RFPF site manager and RRF Operations Manager
  • Monitoring all people & vehicle movements from a traffic management perspective using CCTV and other traffic management tools available at the RRF.
  • Supervising the use of all static and mobile plant to ensure all waste and recycling activities are done safely and efficiently.
  • Supporting mobile plant operators (MSOs) in completing all mobile plant proactive & reactive level one maintenance.
  • Managing all daytoday compliance activities, for example, clearing up spillages and monitoring chemical use in the trade effluent plant.
  • Managing and assess risk on site, with regards to health & safety and environmental compliance.
  • Monitoring all waste movements and activities onsite including ensuring no vehicle go out overweight and waste inspections are completed thoroughly.
  • Supervising the running of any recycling equipment e.g. picking station, screens, magnets etc to ensure maximum recycling percentages are achieved in a safe manner.
  • Assisting in the development of the North London Heat & Power Project (NLHPP), in particular the transition to and commissioning of the new RFPF.
  • Managing contractors safely on site to ensure no adverse impact to operational or borough activities.
  • Managing interactions between the RRC & RFPF alongside the RFPF Site Manager and RRF Operations Manager in order to minimise issues between the two operations for all involved.

Knowledge and Experience:


  • Previous experience of waste disposal facilities.
  • Experience operating mobile plant, loading shovels & 360 material handler.
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements
  • Previous experience of managing a team (essential).
  • To have the ability to work in a pressurised environment.
  • COTC (WAMITAB Level 4) (desirable)
  • NEBOSH or iOSH Managing Health & Safety at Work (desirable)
  • To have a full UK clean driving licence.
