£35.78 p/hr, including pro-rata holiday and preparation time
Are you a creative ESOL tutor adept at engaging adults in purposeful tasks to develop their language as well as digital skills? Then why not join our successful Universal Skills department within an 'outstanding' Ofsted rated College.
We are seeking ESOL tutors to support across a range of courses and are particularly interested in tutors who promote task and project-based learning, who will further the purpose of the Universal Skills department to develop the skills all adults need to participate, make progress and express themselves in a modern society.

- Proven experience and success in teaching ESOL to adults including nonaccredited provision.
- General competence in digital skills and maths and ability to enable ESOL learners to develop these skills.
- Demonstrable experience of teaching in a way that promotes student participation, progression and expression.
- Experience and success in teaching ESOL in a way that promotes student participation, progression and expression.
- Experience of facilitating the development of English skills through imaginative and creative tasks that promote problemsolving, decisionmaking, analysing and collaboration and other indemand common work skills.
- Experience of supporting learners to invest in their learning so they are aware of what they need to do to improve both within a class and over the length of a course.
