Description

Staffpower Group are currently recruiting for multiple Press Operatives for our client based in Gateshead who specialise in high volume metal pressing for the automotive industry.


Shifts & Salary:


  • Monday to Thursday (possibility of Friday working to be introduced)_

Day Shift 6:30am - 4:30pm
-
Back Shift 12:30pm - 10:30pm
-
£10.42 per hour


The role is on a
temp to perm basis
37.5 hours per week, with a permanent contract been given after your 12th week.


Duties:


  • Folding and pressing of metal components
  • Working with raw materials such as steel and aluminium
  • Read and interpret shop orders, diagrams and drawings
  • Set up and operate the press machines
  • The environment can be very noisy and oily
  • Heavy lifting will be required for this position

Benefits:


  • Permanent contract given after 12 weeks

Job Types:

Salary:
£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
