We are a progressive independent Traffic Management business based in the South of England offering a wide range of traffic management schemes and expertise.

We provide professional and safe Traffic Management systems and are ISO9001, Achilles and Acclaim accredited.

You must be based in the UK and live within an hour of our depot.


Education and skills:

  • Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant desirable (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of working in the Utilities sector is an advantage
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel required
  • Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working to deadlines and targets

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily processing of purchase invoices
  • Working with multiple departments to investigate any queries on purchase invoices
  • Processing and reconciling supplier statements
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Processing all incoming cash receipts
  • Processing weekly credit control activities such as credit limits, on stops
  • Auditing customer POs
  • Supporting the provision of customer required information to ensure our invoices are processed accurately and in good time
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Processing all additional expenses including employee expenses and business credit cards
  • Communication with customers when payment is late, over limit or where there are queries on invoicing
  • Reconcile the Debtors and Creditors ledgers weekly to ensure all transactions are matched and payments on account are accurately accounted for
  • Proactively send customer statements before due dates
  • Set up new customers and perform credit searches
  • Perform a regular review of customer credit limits
  • Manage the Accounts inbox and ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Management of the accounts inbox ensuring all queries are dealt with
  • All other auxiliary tasks duly expected of accounts receivable and accounts payable ledger maintenance

From £28,000.00 per year
