KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To work with the Senior Medical Education Administrator to co-ordinate the administration of the Mental Health Undergraduate Medical Students from Keele and Aston University, liaising with the Trust's Undergraduate Leads and the Undergraduate Managers at Keele and Aston Universities as is necessary.

To support the College Tutors to organise the Postgraduate Education Programmes both remote and in-person at St George's Hospital, Stafford and The Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury including populating the programme schedule, summarising feedback and keeping attendance records.

To provide administration and co-ordinate the Trust's Distinguished Speaker Programme as advised by the designated Honorary Lecturer.

This includes meeting to plan speaker lists, coordinating invitations, promoting the events via internal comms to medical staff, arranging a chair-person for each event, recording attendance, collating evaluation, raising purchase orders, arranging honorariums and thank you letters.


To co-ordinate the changeover of student groups ensuring that essential administration related to this is complete and that all necessary documentation reaches the appropriate departments on time.

This will include coordinating timetables in a timely fashion and to a high standard.

To organise both remote and in-person teaching sessions for Medical Students including co-ordinating timetables, overseeing changes and ensuring good communication with students, tutors and external parties.

To work alongside the Medical Education Office at Keele University School of Medicine with regard to student assessments as necessary.


To co-ordinate meetings by booking rooms and refreshments, producing agendas, taking meeting minutes/action points and ensuring all relevant papers are organised and distributed pre and post meeting within agreed timescales.

To provide administrative support to the Postgraduate College Tutors such as organising meetings with trainees, preparation of documents, filing and photocopying.

In liaison with Undergraduate Lead and College Tutors arrange for cover during absence in order to ensure continuity of meetings.

When required to assist in the organisation of Doctors in Training changeover held four times a year including arranging Doctors in Training Inductions.


To administer SAS doctor educational events including using the electronic procurement system to raise purchase orders and keeping a record of SAS doctor attendance.

To assist colleagues in Medical Staffing with cover of the medical staffing in-box where required.
