About Our Client:

Our client's Finance Team in Nottingham plays a vital role in the day to day running of their business.

For the successful Payroll Officer, our client can offer a salary up to £26,000 (DOE) and early finishes on a Friday

This is a temporary position for 6 months for a global organisation with the potential for an extension.


Payroll Officer Key Responsibilities**:


  • Creating, maintaining and updating payroll processes
  • Dealing with employee salary and payroll queries
  • Reconciliations
  • Provide support to the Payroll Team
  • Set up new starters on the payroll system
  • Be responsible for the payroll processing of salary sacrifice schemes
  • Process the administration of all leavers
  • Run regular payroll reports
  • Calculating holiday and monitor accruals
  • Processing pensions
  • Reporting

The Successful Applicant:


The successful Payroll Officer:


  • Have experience in a similar position
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Good Excel skills
  • Process driven
  • Good numerical skills
  • Experience working in Payroll
  • Have an understanding of statutory deductions
