About Our Client:
Our client's Finance Team in Nottingham plays a vital role in the day to day running of their business.
For the successful Payroll Officer, our client can offer a salary up to £26,000 (DOE) and early finishes on a Friday
This is a temporary position for 6 months for a global organisation with the potential for an extension.
Payroll Officer Key Responsibilities**:
- Creating, maintaining and updating payroll processes
- Dealing with employee salary and payroll queries
- Reconciliations
- Provide support to the Payroll Team
- Set up new starters on the payroll system
- Be responsible for the payroll processing of salary sacrifice schemes
- Process the administration of all leavers
- Run regular payroll reports
- Calculating holiday and monitor accruals
- Processing pensions
- Reporting
The Successful Applicant:
The successful Payroll Officer:
- Have experience in a similar position
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Good Excel skills
- Process driven
- Good numerical skills
- Experience working in Payroll
- Have an understanding of statutory deductions
