More about your role
We are looking for a Principal Auditor to come and join the team to support our Director of Assurance.

You will be responsible for reviewing and assisting in improving the operational effectiveness of the business, through a programme of reviews, intervention and follow up consultancy.

You will prepare detailed audit scopes and agree these with relevant management.

You will research and assess how well risk management processes and internal controls are working and how well the business is complying with rules and regulations, recording these results using Audit software as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.

This role is a home based position, however you will be expected to travel as required to Group sites across the UK to meet relevant staff and obtain documents and information and carry out your audit duties fully and attend 6 weekly meetings in our South Rings, Preston office.

Interviews for this role will be held in person from our South Rings office.

As your role is working directly with our internal customers, you should have the ability to deliver a customer focussed service and present information in an informative manner.

You will have good relationship building skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels across our business.
