Payroll Finance Officer

Perm Role

Full Time

Office Based

Salary 24-28k


We are delighted to be Working with one of our client who are recruiting for an experienced Payroll and Finance Officer.

You will be working within a friendly team,ensuring all finance and payroll functions operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Having volume payroll and finance experience
  • Managing accounts systems
  • End to end payroll processing
  • All monthly payroll information
  • Starters, leavers, amendments, salary sacrifice schemes and payments and deductions,
  • Maintain all Finance and HR systems
  • Ensuring all payroll activity is monitored and checked and any errors are rectified
  • To post the monthly payroll to the accounting ledger and perform a reconciliation of the actual monthly payroll to the accounting ledger.
- payments processing (e.g. SMP, SSP, etc.) are processed correctly, liaising closely with the payroll provider

  • All administration related to the company Pensions Scheme
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel would be an advantage
  • Collation and input of new starters and leavers
  • Dealing with pay related queries in a timely manner
  • Provide all administrative support in all aspects of payroll and finance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Remain calm working under pressure
  • Reporting in to the HR Manager/Finance Manager
