Who will you be working for?
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company in the hospitality industry. They are dedicated to providing excellent customer experiences and promoting a positive work culture.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team in Blackpool.
What will you be doing?
You will play a critical role in supporting our finance department.
You will work closely with the finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, assist in financial reporting, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including data entry and reconciliation.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Handle bank and cash reconciliations.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Contribute to monthend and yearend close processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
