Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to a well-established manufacturer of high-end architectural glass systems.

Due to an expanding business & internal promotions, we are looking for a professional Van Driver who doesn't mind working in the manufacturing workshop when needed.

The successful Van Driver duties will include;

Loading & Driving a long wheel base sprinter van delivering he companies goods to their customers
Providing a through the doorstep service
Setting up, operating & maintaining glass manufacturing machinery as per SOP & In line with health and safety
Delivering finished goods inline with the companies high standards taking particular care of these fragile, delicate goods
Manufacturing architectural glass as per client spec
Work to current standard operating procedures (SOP's)
Adhere to all workshop SOP's and co' health and safety procedures
Communicate with team leaders, managers and clients to ensure streamlined production
Update and manage their computer systems (full training provided)
Quality Check all finished items pointing out errors or areas for improvement
Hours of work, Monday to Friday, 7am 4pm (some overtime opportunities available)

Required experience & characteristics;

Current & VALID UK Driving Licence, Category B
At least 1 years experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally glass or a similar large scale products
Strong communication and confident to point out mistakes
Live within commutable distance to Park Royal
Reliable & conscientious
Courteous, polite & professional
