Intamet
Ltd is an International Stockholder and Distributor of Stainless Steels in all forms.

We supply materials to a wide range of customers from engineering and fabrication through to Oil Refineries, Pharmaceutical, Marine and Nuclear Power Stations globally.

We are currently looking to recruit a
full-time sales trainee to work in our Segensworth, Fareham facility.

This is a new role for The Company and we prefer to train this person in the style, expertise and culture of our business, so previous experience in sales is not essential.

The successful applicant will be one that is self-motivated, confident with good charisma and communication skills, computer literate and prepared to learn.

It is important applicants have a reliable means of transport to get to and from our facility in Segensworth.

Main duties summary:

• Learning and understanding company processes and systems
• Administration
• Assisting with Quality Assurance
• Stock management
• Sales support
• Speaking with suppliers and customers
• Dealing with incoming enquiries
• Preparing quotations
• Sourcing materials worldwide
• Order entry

Key Skills for the role:

• I.T. Excel / Word basic experience
• Reliable and interesting person that likes to work as part of a team
• Flexible, practical and organised
• Good Mathematic and English skills
• Ability to accurately record information
• Communication skills
• A good eye for detail

The Hours / Benefits

• Monday thru Friday 08:30 17:00 / 37.5 Hrs (1 hour lunch)
• 22 Days Paid Annual Leave, rising to 25 Days
• Pension Scheme + other benefits
• Onsite parking

Summary

We are looking for a special person for this role that is adaptable, presentable, flexible and reliable with a good sense of humour and a team player.

Sometimes we can be exceptionally busy where all the team pull together.
