Description

Logistics Associate required for a manufacturing company in Exhall, Bedworth.

7am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 12 noon on a Friday.

£10.90 per hour.

Must has a Counterbalance FLT licence.

The main purpose of the role primarily is for the maintenance and upkeep of the exterior of the manufacturing site.

The role will also require you assisting the internal logistics team with the movement of internal packaging, pallets and materials.

Duties

The removal and disposal of any obsolete jigs, fixtures and parts and ensuring a record of this is kept and shared.

Ensuring that exterior of the premises is always clean and tidy.

Ensuring scrap and refuse is disposed of in the correct way.

Contacting waste disposal companies to arrange collection of general scrap metal waste.

Ensure all parts, materials and packaging are removed from the production line in a safe and timely manner.

Support stores and ensuring materials are picked and issued correctly from the stores ready for production.

Communicate effectively with the line manager of any problems concerning raw materials and parts availability that may affect the efficiency of the line.

Ensuring the site meets and adheres to health and safety standards and policies.

Other duties may be requested by the supply chain management team.

Skills Required:

You must have a current Counterbalance FLT licence.

Be a good communicator.

Follow instructions.

Have a good attention to detail.

Like working outdoors.

Please note the work is initially for three months, but will be reviewed and possibly be extended, but will be confirmed nearer the time.

Salary:
£10.90 per hour
