Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated ALS Officer to join the East Durham College Team on a full time basis.

Main Duties of the Role:

Essential Requirement:

Level 2 in English and Maths.
NVQ Level 2 Admin, similar or be willing to work towards.
Experience of working within an educational environment.
Experience of data inputting.
Experience of using management information systems.
Knowledge of the ALS service and associated funding.
Knowledge of EHC plans and review process.
Knowledge of what constitutes effective support and learning.
High standard of IT literacy and competence including Word & Excel.
Ability to build relationships with staff, learners, employers, parents and carers and other key stakeholders.
