Commissioning Officer - Hove, United Kingdom - Brighton & Hove City Council

Job IntroductionThis is a key role in managing Contracted Services within the Council's Commissioning team for Single and Rough Sleeper Supported Housing Projects.
You will work in partnership with two other Commissioning Officers and the wider Housing Commissioning Team to manage the contracts for a wide range of projects within the pathway.
You will complete contract reviews, analyse outcomes and key performance indicators for projects, ensuring that services are delivered on budget and to the agreed specification.
You will provide guidance and information to services commissioned to ensure that projects are delivered using a Psychologically Informed Environment's model and support the diverse and complex needs of clients.
You will provide support to providers around individual clients within the projects, working to prevent housing loss as well as resolving any issues around referrals into the pathway.
You will represent the service and needs of service users at multi agency groups, to support best practice and joint working with the aim to improve the lives of those within the pathway and end rough sleeping in the city.
You will collate and provide frequent data and reporting on individual projects within pathway as well as identifying gaps where there is a service demand.
You will provide support to the wider Commissioning Team with recommissioning work as well as maximising any future funding opportunities.
We need someone who is self-motivated, well organised and able to communicate with a variety of external and internal stakeholders.
The ability to manage a varied and complex workload is essential as will be the ability to forge strong, productive partnerships with providers of supported accommodation.
This role will give you the opportunity to develop your existing skills and experience and be an integral part of supporting people to move forward from rough sleeping and move into suitable and sustainable accommodation working alongside a diverse and friendly team at the heart of supported housing delivery in Brighton & Hove.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
