Overview:

Reed are partnered with a Manufacturing company based near the port Talbot / Maesteg area, who are looking to add a Health & Safety Manager to their South Wales facility.

In the past 6 years they have grown year on year and almost quadrupled their annualturnover, establishing themselves at the top of the market within their industry.

What Makes This Role Different?

You will have the opportunity to come in and approach things with a 'blank canvas' and put your own stamp on things.
Working closely with the Director of Production, you will be establishing yourself as the main POC for H&S on site, implementing H&S procedures, and improving upon their existing H&S culture.
This would suit a H&S Manager who enjoys being proactive, having a big presence on site, and working closely with internal stakeholders to coach and train best practice.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications

Experience in a Senior Health & Safety Officer, or Health & Safety Manager role within the Manufacturing industry.
BA in Safety Management or similar field (IOSH, NEBOSH etc etc).
Experience of implementing H&S procedures and culture.
Proactive approach to stakeholder management.
