A digital agency/software company are looking to welcome a Product Owner to their growing Product function as a result of their rapidly expanding client base.

Based in the heart of Cardiff, they are now a 75 strong team working across the UK - the choice is yours, work from the Cardiff office, split your time between the office and home, or work fully remotely


The role:
Product Owner


As an Agile Product Owner, you will be integral to building strong client relationships to truly understand their requirements, then bridge the gap between the client and the in-house development teams, acting as that true internal voice of the client.

You will be in tune to their requirements to represent them in the day-to-day running of projects to ensure they're delivered with all the features and functionality needed to ensure project success

  • Determine project feasibility and identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve user experience
  • Map out and articulate user stories with applicable acceptance criteria and contribute to building and maintaining the product backlog


They're fully Agile, working in 2-week sprints, and as Product Owner you will work with the production team (Project Manager, UX Designer, Web Developers & QA) to deliver outstanding products to meet client requirements.


Examples of projects include the development and maintenance of large government sites, creating a critical EAP platform for a leading engagement client, developing an online banking portal for a high-street bank and strategizing with a charity to increase their online sponsorship.


About you:

  • Experience in a relevant role (such as a background in Business Analysis) digital transformation, software development and/or solutions architecture environment
  • Experience of Agile development practices and working in an Agile environment
  • Scrum and/or Product Owner qualifications are desirable but not essential
