At Darktrace, Human Resources (HR) is focused on balancing the needs of the employee and the needs of the business.

Our HR Head Office based in Cambridge are looking for an experienced People Adviser to join their friendly and collaborative global HR team.

The role will be based in our Cambridge head office supporting all people matters across EMEA.

As People Advisor you will be based at our Cambridge HQ, Reporting to the HR Manager


Responsibilities:


  • Act as a key HR point of contact for employees across EMEA and APAC
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Guide and support managers on employee relations matters in relation to conduct and capability, grevance and disciplinary matters, absence issues and any other employee relation matters
  • Answer general queries that are sent to the HR mailbox
  • Manage the offboarding process including conducting exit interviews with leavers, identifying common trends and themes and reporting them back to the business
  • General administration including writing digital letters to employees and maintaining employee files.
  • Assist with ISO audits ensuring we are being compliant.
  • Assist the team in the pay review process, ensuring requests are managed.
  • Provide HR metrics using the HR information system to analyse and measure data.
  • Monitor and track probation reviews, performance reviews and flag potential issues.
  • Maintain employee records on our HR information system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the family leave process (maternity, paternity, adoption, SPL) with expectant parents.
  • Assist with the roll out of HR projects and communications.
  • Previous experience in HR dealing with employee relations casework (Essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness (Essential)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, and an understanding of an HR information system, preferably Workday (Essential)
  • A flexible and adaptable approach when managing key stakeholders (Essential)
  • The ability to work well under pressure, with good time management and organizational skills (Essential)
  • Confident to work independently, as well as a team member, on projects and tasks (Essential)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment (Essential)
  • At least CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards (Essential)
  • Experience wotking across multiple European locations (Desirable)
  • A solid understanding of UK/EMEA employemnt law (Desirable
  • Experience using Workday (Desirable)
