The Role


The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Managers in the delivery of each project, from client order through to sign-off and acceptance.

The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for the delivery of small service orders for our clients.

They work closely with many other functions in the business to ensure all project coordination, costings and invoicing are conducted in line with company processes and in a timely manner.

The Project Coordinator also has many PMO (Project Management Office) responsibilities, such as assisting with accurate forecasting, invoicing, and supporting other activities within the PMO.


Role Responsibilities

  • Provides complete administrative assistance to Project Managers ranging from issuing and reviewing purchase orders, to preparation of project documentation, and administration of Sub-Contractors whilst working on their project sites.
  • Monitors projects and their resources against the project plans, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Ensures, under direction, adherence to all Connect-IP's project management methodology, processes, and procedures.
  • Assists in the production of high quality, professionally written and onbrand documentation including Project Plans, PIDs, Risk/Action Logs.
  • Contributes to the creation of, and accurate and timely updating of project information within project logs and systems.
  • Demonstrates under supervision, appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout any activities carried out.
  • Ensures, under guidance, all works comply with Connect-IP's Company Standards and meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Supports the development of trusted relationships with project stakeholders and supports this by delivering on time, to budget and exceeding expectations.
  • Aids in the timely and accurate forecasting, invoicing, and monitoring of projectrelated receivables.
  • Identifies and reports opportunities for development and/or expansion through commercial change control.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Ability to plan and organise project resources in line with project requirements
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings and specifications
  • Basic understanding of project processes and methodologies
  • Intermediate MS Project, Word, Outlook, and Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and quickly evolving organisation managing multiple complex priorities
  • Sound analytical, project management and problemsolving skills

Training and Qualifications

  • Essential 2 years administrative experience within a busy, dynamic environment

  • Basic experience and understanding of structured cabling installations and materials
