Description
At this level you will actively support and lead on appropriate projects that include things such as digital technology, employee branding, values based recruitment and diverse and creative recruitment strategies.
The post-holder will be responsible for developing, shaping and delivering the Resourcing and on boarding Plan for the designated Regions/Discipline to implement a tailored recruitment strategy for each area.
Utilising key workforce information, the post-holder will work with the Group Head of Resourcing & appropriate Managing Director, to understand current and future workforce requirements in order to support the development of and implement the Regional Resourcing Strategy which meets those needs.
To deliver these objectives, the post holder will
Build collaborative relationships with the SMT and key stakeholders to understand the requirements for all assigned vacancies and business growth
Manage a team of Field Based Resourcers and Recruitment & On boarding Administrators to deliver the plan on the ground, minimising delay across the selection and on boarding process in line with Regulatory and Compliance requirements
Create robust recruitment plans for the Region, for Volume and Manager roles, taking the lead on recruitment and on boarding, including attendance at interviews, events, job fairs etc.
as agreed locallyTake personal ownership of the attraction, selection and on boarding of all Manager recruitment for the region, working closely with the Regional Managers to successfully recruit these critical roles
Work closely with the Group Head of Resourcing, MD's and RM's to develop robust commercial solutions and clear planning, per region, for the recruitment and selection of key staff
Source, provide and present regular recruitment metrics, management information and statutory reporting
Work alongside HR, Operations, Finance and Marketing to ensure that all Recruitment plans and spend are commercially robust, delivering the best ROI for the Region/Group.
Ensure Group communication is delivered effectivelyProvide hands on operational support across the end to end recruitment and on boarding cycle - through all stages including approval, attraction, selection, offer and pre-employment checks
Contribute regular research and robust awareness of the region's labour market, the potential impact on turnover, adapting recruitment plans accordingly
Deliver Hiring Manager and Selection Skills training sessions to hiring managers on recruitment best practice and HR/Regulatory compliance
Play an active part in succession planning and talent mapping alongside implementing a talent framework that assesses internal talent
Ensure that the CareTech Group recruitment and on boarding practice mirrors outstanding contemporary techniques and technological developments, maintaining and sharing up to date knowledge around the market, legislation and compliance issues
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The post holder will need strong Recruitment Business Partnering or Team Leading experience, with current or previous exposure to working in Health & Social care or a similar fast paced, volume recruitment role.
Credible and articulate, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at the most senior level
Commercially astute, with a robust analytical style, able to assess effectively where the best ROI is to be found
Flexible attitude and the ability to pick up multiple and competing priorities
Able to deliver at pace without compromise on quality or compliance
Detail orientated, high levels of literacy and a 'finisher'
Resilient and proactive - keen to go the extra mile with creativity and persistence

Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge of Recruitment within the Children's Services sector, specifically Safer Recruitment (KCSIE)
Knowledge of Recruitment within the Social Care Sector, specifically Children's Homes Regulations (CQC and Ofsted).
Experienced of implementing a Regional Talent Acquisition strategy aligned to challenging commercial goals and business objectives
Exposure to Workforce Planning within healthcare or another fast-paced, corporate environment
Knowledge of anti-discrimination and equal opportunities legislation
Experience of leading a team
