Role Responsibility:


  • To assess the technical capabilities of individuals within the Shift and create tailored training individual development plans based on the assessment findings, this will address technical and competency gaps.
  • Ensure each process is set to standard product settings and advise the Production Manager when product process settings are unable to run to specific standards.
  • To address areas where production is inefficient, understand the cause and effect of such inefficiencies and seek solutions independently and collaboratively from the Continuous Improvement activities and/or relevant departments.
  • To assess efficiencies of machines within the department, raising any maintenance issues via the Maintenance Process. To be active in identifying and confirming timelines for resolution.
  • To support the NPD team in the development of New / Existing products within the business.
  • Complete all employee administration in relation to assessments, training and development reviews.
  • Attend daily production meetings as required and undertake leadership as required within these meetings.
  • Provide relevant information to the Production Manager and your colleagues in these meetings with the use of the relevant Management reports.
  • Ensure you provide the required level of technical support and reviews to the factory operational areas.
  • To produce and accurate workflows which ensures all machinery are utilised effectively and production is not adversely effected, where issues arise ensure the relevant stakeholders are advised.
