  • Bexley Business & Employment is based at Atrium Court in Erith and we have been providing support for unemployed/underemployed Bexley residents for more than 20 years. We offer a menu of support from which participants can pick including individually tailored advice and guidance around job search and employment, support to gain employability skills, computerised job search facilities and access to local vacancies.

About the Role:


  • As a health qualified employment advisor on the Work & Health programme you will work with adult job seekers who are preparing to move into employment, helping them to identify and address barriers that make this difficult by providing exemplary case management, including support, advice, advocacy and signposting to relevant support services. You will already have experience of working in a health setting eg as a mental health nurse/occupational therapist/mental health social worker and will have the relevant qualifications for that role.
  • You will develop and maintain an action plan with each job seeker, agreeing a range of activities, to enable and inspire individuals to achieve sustained employment and nonemployment progression measures, including managing health conditions, improving wellbeing, selfconfidence and levels of independence.
