Reed are working with a number companies based in Maidstone Kent with vast amounts of histories within manufacturing and production, and strong reputations of being leading manufacturers, they provide services throughout UK and Europe.

They all deliver tonumber of sectors, from one off bespoke to a full roll-out programme.


They have continued to flourish and with an increasing forward order books or projects that are scheduled for completion, are always on the lookout for
Sheet Metal Worker.


Your main responsibilities as a
Sheet Metal Worker:

  • Shaping and cutting out sections using hand tools and press machines
  • Finishing items with grinders and polisher
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets, from engineering drawings

Must have Requirements:


  • Ability to read and work from fabrication drawings
  • Conversant with press brakes, guillotines, and punches.
  • Be able to work with Mild Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminium
  • Must be motivated and have a flexible approach

Following would be desirable:


  • Experienced with various CNC software, able to weld and fabricate would be an advantage
  • Willing and looking for overtime as the company is very busy

Typical Working Hours:

Monday to Friday - 40 hours pw
