Senior / Principal Transport Planner

Salary £55,000 - £65,000

London
Currently looking for a Senior to Principal Transport Planner to join us in London.

This is a great opportunity to join our reputable London transport team that work with a wide variety of clients across the South-East and Nationwide.

You will have the opportunityto work within a passionate group of transport professionals and a business that have exciting growth plans ahead.

We can offer you hybrid and flexible working options and have recently moved to a brand new office beside Farringdon station.


Over the years, we have worked across nearly every London borough and on some fantastic high-profile projects such as Beam Park, Waltham Forest Town Hall, Wandsworth Town Hall, Barking Riverside, Lewisham Gateway, Elephant Park,, South Thamesmead, and theEddington Site at North West Cambridge for the University of Cambridge.


Our future pipelines are growing particularly in the development planning sector and we are leading on a wide variety of urban regeneration and strategic transport schemes.

This role will provide you with significant opportunity for career progression andpersonal development, through the delivery of high value quality services to influential clients.

You will be responsible for project management and supporting technical output of transportation project teams. You will be involved in the production of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and associated technical analysis work.

You will liaise with clients,design teams, local authorities and the general public and will play an important role in the mentoring and development of junior members of the team.


This role will provide you with significant opportunity for career progression and personal development, with support from Stantec and colleagues through mentoring and training to develop your own skills set.


ABOUT YOU
You will be degree qualified in transportation, geography, engineering or a related field and ideally Chartered.


You will have experience and understanding of the planning system and strong experience with Transport Assessments, Travel Planning, Junction modelling / analysis and experience of relevant software packages.

You will have experience with budget and qualitymanagement at project level


To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and enthusiastic team player but critically, you will have a passion for transport planning.
