Our client based in Ipswich is looking for a Freight Forwarder to join their team.

Our client is experiencing exceptional growth, dedicated to achieving results.

Air Freight, Road Freight, Sea Freight, Specialist (Hazardous, Abnormal Loads) Warehousing & Customs.

If you have a real passion for Freight Forwarding and European experience this could be the perfect position for you

Duties & Key Accountabilities:

Develop key service relationships with customers for an effective and efficient service.
Ensure the delivery and or collection of goods across Europe.
Liaising with customers and overseas agent
Effectively find subcontractors to achieve delivery requirement and margin level.
Ensuring transport costs are managed well whilst utilising vehicle and drivers to their maximum turnover.
Comply with EU and UK regulations and requirements regarding export / import documentation.
To offer our clients as much transport solution as possible
To identify and highlight to management any potential improvement opportunities.
To demonstrate the Company Values in the undertaking of their role.
To undertake any other reasonable task as required.
To always display the highest standards of customer service
