SEND Learning Support Assistant

Kirklees: Dewsbury
Immediate start

We are currently recruiting for a Year 2 SEND Support Assistant for a Primary School within the Dewsbury area. This role is full time, with an immediate start.

We are looking for an individual who is empathetic, nurturing and has a passion to support with children and young people with learning difficulties.

Experience of working with children and young people who have Autism
A positive, calm, and adaptable personality
Strong communication skills
The ability to give students personcentred support
Be compassionate, caring, and respectful
An uptodate DBS that is on the DBS Update Service (or be willing to undertake a new one)
Proof of Safeguarding at a minimum of Level 1 (or be willing to undergo online training)
