Starting salary from £21,197 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £23,144 per annum


The University seeks the appointment of two Accounts Payable Assistants to work in the Accounts Payable Team within the Procurement and Insurance Service in the Finance, Planning and Governance Division.

The Accounts payable team provide systems, processes and activity in support of timely and accurate use of the University's payment processes - including supplier setups, weekly domestic and foreign payment runs and administration of the University's purchase card portfolio.

The team also has a key role in fraud prevention.


You will demonstrate your ability to take ownership of a portfolio of regular and ad hoc work, high attention to detail and organisational skills, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team which deals with a high volume of work as part of a weekly, monthly and annual financial cycle.

These posts are available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis.
