Description
A small (24 rooms), friendly, private and family-owned care home for the elderly and residents with dementia is looking for an experienced night care assistant to join our team.
Applicants must be 21+ to provide personal care.
The working hours are 48 hours per week, arranged according to rota and to include weekends and bank holidays. Additional shifts will be available during periods of annual leave or staff sickness. Shifts are 8pm-8am.
The successful applicant must demonstrate flexibility when it comes to covering shifts and reliability is essential, as are good communication skills and previous experience working with elderly people with dementia.
Duties are to include:
- administering medication (training is provided)
- providing personal care
- assisting the resident to bed
- washing and dressing the resident
- and any other associated jobs that may be required.

£9.68-£9.89 per hour
