Join Our Team as a Secondary School Behaviour Mentor in Newham

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Do you have a knack for providing guidance and support to students facing behavioural challenges? If so, we want you to join our dedicated team, located in the vibrant community of Newham


As a Behaviour Mentor at our secondary school, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our students.


Here's what you'll be doing:

Supported students within the exclusion unit: You'll work closely with students in the exclusion unit, providing encouragement, facilitating learning, and assisting with various activities to promote their personal and academic growth.


Monitored the campus:
Your watchful eye will ensure the safety and well-being of our school community. You'll supervise students, especially those transitioning to and from the exclusion unit, and diligently fulfill on-call duties as needed.


Provided guidance and support:
You'll be a trusted mentor and resource for students experiencing behavioural difficulties. Through empathy, patience, and effective communication, you'll help them navigate challenges and develop strategies for success.


What We're Looking For:

A compassionate individual dedicated to supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians. Resilience and adaptability in managing challenging situations with professionalism and tact. Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs, is highly desirable.
