Job Description:

Detective controls are designed to find errors or problems after the transaction has occurred.

Detective controls are essential because they provide evidence that preventive controls are operating as intended, as well as offer an after-the-fact chance to detect irregularities.


Tasks included:


  • Implement and conduct detective control measures for Bill to Cash procedures
  • Analyse and communicate findings to relevant areas
  • Facilitate problem solving sessions to find solutions and provide ongoing support to achieve stability within the monitored process
  • Monitor improvement measures through reporting
  • Escalate discussions for continuous errors, nonimprovement, or noncompliance
  • Prepare the Detective Controls Evidence for sign off monthly, presenting key findings to the departmental Director

Qualifications:


  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Comfortable with large data manipulation with data mining and reporting software
  • Knowledge and understanding of Service Accounts and After Sales processes (advantageous)
  • Ability to communicate on all levels and to different understandings and attitudes
  • Experience of using CRM, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Power BI would be beneficial
  • Accounting background would be an advantage
  • Commitment to see a problem through to completion

Working Hours: 40 hours a week; Mon - Fri
