We are recruiting a female live in carer to care for an elderly lady in her own home who has Parkinson's Disease with Dementia.
The applicant will be required to live in a separate house next door to the client, for a period of one week, on a rota system of one week on, one week off running from Monday to Monday.
**Roles and Responsibilities will include:- *
- Prompt administration of medication
- Personal care
- Moving & Handling
- Food preparation
- Promoting customer health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their life to the full
- Companionship
- Light domestic work
- Going out into the community
- Full driving licence required
- At least Level One in Health and Social care or the equivalent
- Experience with Parkinson's Disease or Dementia
- Resilience and patience has the client can be difficult at times
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent level of English
- Be prepared to live on a farm with cats and other animals
What we offer:
- £1500 per week on a self employed basis
