THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director, Consulting EMEA, you will lead a Pod consisting of between 4 to 6 people.


As Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that the team has the highest level of knowledge/experience in order to deliver consulting services to the highest possible standards.

This will include ensuring that the team have the technical skills required to configure FinancialForce software to meet customer needs, to be current on all functionality in new product releases, to encourage sharing of best practices across/between Pods and to ensure compliance with the FinancialForce Implementation Methodology.


You will work with the Consulting Director and fellow Pod Leaders to put in place the appropriate Learning and Development strategy and plans and ensure that Pod members are allocated sufficient time when required in order to complete professional development activity e.g.

New Product Release (NPI) training.


As the Pod's Leader you will be line manager to your fellow team members and ensure they have the support they need to be successful in their roles and to realise their career aspirations.

This will involve regular 1:1's, periodic performance and development reviews, contributing towards annual pay awards/promotions and supporting the hiring of new team members.

You will be responsible for the Pod's Key Performance Indicators, for example Utilisation and CSAT.

You will also be expected to deliver consulting services to FinancialForce customers and contribute to internal practice initiatives.

The role therefore has utilisation targets, both chargeable and with credit, and these are set to allow sufficient time for Team Lead activity.


RESPONSIBILITIES - Sr Consultant - FFA

  • To deliver Consulting Services to FinancialForce Customers, meeting a 55% personal utilisation target
  • Developing and managing relationships with customers.
  • Working primarily with medium to largesized organizations with average to high complexity implementations.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Team Lead Role

  • Drive the Performance Feedback loop have regular 121's with the team members, delivering recognition and feedback, discussing development opportunities and support needs, and taking on board suggestions for improvements
  • With support from the Director, Professional Services, hold career progression discussions setting objectives and timescales for achievement to help with progression to new roles and levels
  • Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing, devising and delivering technical tests, and being involved in the decision making process leading to employment offers
  • Identify and recommend training needs for team members
  • Will be required to participate in Employee Success processes, as well as providing input into processes such as promotions, etc.
  • Feeding back in collaboration with the FinancialForce Enterprise Solution Architects, into the Sales Cycle so that our Statements of Work are accurate and reflect both an approach and estimate of effort that is needed to meet the customers requirements
  • Working with the Director, Professional Services, to support the attainment of Pod KPIs which are reflective in each individual's objectives
  • To develop and maintain the highest levels of Technical and Functional knowledge within the Pod in order that the solutions we deliver meet/exceed our customers expectations.
  • To ensure the team understands and follows the FinancialForce Implementation Methodology in order to promote the highest possible levels of quality, efficiency and effectiveness in the services that the team delivers.
  • To promote and encourage a working environment whereby knowledge is shared seamlessly throughout the team members and across Pod's so that we constantly improve the services that we deliver.
  • Leading and contributing to Lessons Learnt reviews and implementing appropriate actions arising from such reviews.
  • To work with fellow Pod Leaders to ensure that the Solutions we deliver meet our customers end to end requirements and that we avoid a silo approach to Design and Build whereby we think 'Product' and not 'Process'. This will include ensuring that Pod members have an appropriate level of knowledge of other FinancialForce products outside their core product domain.
