£33,000

Location:
Ascot

Hours:
Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to begin work for a manufacturing market leader based in Ascot.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Planner to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

Role model for our client's values and provide Health & Safety Leadership
Support & facilitate implementation of improved data and inventory management systems
Stock Control
Carry out cycle counts, highlight discrepancies
Root cause analysis and implement improvements to eliminate discrepancies
Action CRM requests for Item Creation
Create new JDE items based on supplied BoM & Routing
Update CRM in the absence of the Lead Planner
Quarterly reviews of BoMs and Routings on current product range
BoMs, Routings
Costs
Labour and Machine Times
Obsolescence, Active, MTO etc
Own Site Master Data Management
Ensure data is accurate
Plan Materials control & movement within postsynthesis and constantly challenge & improve the way we do things
Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations and Commercial
Support indirect team members in Supply Chain and Materials Control activities
Assist with general production administration and planning as required

***- Experience in planning production through a manufacturing operation

Previous experience in inventory management & controls is advantageous
High level accuracy and attention to detail
Computer literate (e.g MS Excel, ERP Systems (JDE, SAP)
Customer centric, operationally & service focussed with a proactive, "can do" attitude.
